Christoffel Arabians, The Netherlands

Charmingly tucked away and surrounded by protected National Trust grounds lies the privately owned Stud of Margreet de Ruiter - Floor, where she devotes herself exclusively to the breeding of Purebred Arabian racehorses.

Two decades of breeding, pedigree research, studying conformation, training and racing of her homebreds, has led to a small but refined broodmare band, combining Russian stamina and toughness with French speed, resulting in national and international success. Having been elected by an international jury as the world's most successful female owner and the world's second best female breeder of Arabian racehorses, honoured with the the HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Darley Award 2012 in Houston (U.S.A.) was the acknowledgement of her dedication to racing with Arabian horses.
